Avalanche Fuji Faucet FAQ

Select Avalanche and the Fuji network on this page, enter your wallet address or connect a wallet, then complete the verification to receive AVAX on Avalanche Fuji. The base drip is free and requires no Quicknode account, no post on X and no minimum mainnet balance, so a brand new wallet can claim. Optional bonuses increase the amount but are never required.

You can claim AVAX once every 12 hours per network, and the exact base amount for Avalanche Fuji is shown on the next step, once you have entered a wallet address. Sharing a post on X that contains your wallet address and this faucet URL doubles the drip, and Quicknode customers on a paid plan double it again, up to four times the base amount plus priority in the queue for faster delivery. The 12 hour cooldown is per wallet address per network, so you can still claim on a different network in the meantime.

Fuji is the Avalanche test network, and chain ID 43113 refers to its C-Chain, the EVM compatible chain where contracts are deployed. It uses test AVAX for gas, so Solidity contracts work unchanged. Fuji also has non-EVM P-Chain and X-Chain environments, and it is where you test Avalanche subnets before deploying them.

Avalanche Fuji uses chain ID 43113, and you can view your transactions on Snowtrace. To add the network to MetaMask or another wallet, enter that chain ID together with an RPC URL and the explorer URL, or connect your wallet on this page and approve the network switch when prompted. For a dedicated endpoint without shared rate limits, create a free Avalanche RPC endpoint on Quicknode.

The most common cause is the 12 hour cooldown, which applies per wallet address per network, so a repeat request inside that window is rejected. Other frequent causes are a failed bot check, an address that is not a valid Avalanche address, having the wrong network selected, or the Avalanche Fuji faucet wallet running low on funds. Smart contract wallets and multisig addresses can also fail where a standard address succeeds. If it keeps failing, reach out on X or Discord.
