Elysium Testnet Faucet FAQ

Select Elysium and the Testnet network on this page, enter your wallet address or connect a wallet, then complete the verification to receive HYPE on Elysium Testnet. The base drip is free and requires no Quicknode account or post on X. We do require a small mainnet balance on the wallet you are using to claim. This is to prevent abuse and spam. Optional bonuses increase the amount but are never required.

You can claim HYPE once every 12 hours per network, and the exact base amount for Elysium Testnet is shown on the next step, once you have entered a wallet address. Sharing a post on X that contains your wallet address and this faucet URL doubles the drip, and Quicknode customers on a paid plan double it again, up to four times the base amount plus priority in the queue for faster delivery. The 12 hour cooldown is per wallet address per network, so you can still claim on a different network in the meantime.

Elysium Testnet is the test network for Elysium, an Arbitrum Orbit layer 2 built by Kinetiq for the Hyperliquid ecosystem. Its gas token is HYPE, bridged one to one from HyperEVM Testnet, so fees are paid in the same asset used across Hyperliquid.

Elysium Testnet uses chain ID 99801, and you can view your transactions on Elysium Testnet Explorer. To add the network to MetaMask or another wallet, enter that chain ID together with an RPC URL and the explorer URL, or connect your wallet on this page and approve the network switch when prompted. For a dedicated endpoint without shared rate limits, create a free Elysium RPC endpoint on Quicknode.

The most common cause is the 12 hour cooldown, which applies per wallet address per network, so a repeat request inside that window is rejected. Other frequent causes are a failed bot check, an address that is not a valid Elysium address, having the wrong network selected, or the Elysium Testnet faucet wallet running low on funds. Smart contract wallets and multisig addresses can also fail where a standard address succeeds. If this faucet cannot fund your address, bridge testnet HYPE from HyperEVM Testnet to Elysium Testnet. HyperEVM Testnet HYPE can itself be obtained from the Hyperliquid testnet faucet. If it keeps failing, reach out on X or Discord.

Elysium Testnet is the network for testing applications that extend Hyperliquid with their own execution environment, such as DeFi protocols, liquid staking integrations and contracts that settle in HYPE. Standard EVM contracts deploy without changes.
