Mumbai Faucet

Quicknode got tired of having to scrounge for Mumbai tokens, so we created this Multi-Chain Faucet for all of the networks we support.

1Connect your wallet
2Choose your amount
3Receive your tokens

Drop in your wallet details

Connect your wallet! We support Coinbase Wallet, MetaMask, Uniswap Wallet, and Phantom wallet.

Low balance for this chain and network.

Polygon Amoy Faucet FAQ

Select Polygon and the Amoy network on this page, enter your wallet address or connect a wallet, then complete the verification to receive POL on Polygon Amoy. The base drip is free and requires no Quicknode account, no post on X and no minimum mainnet balance, so a brand new wallet can claim. Optional bonuses increase the amount but are never required.

You can claim POL once every 12 hours per network, and the exact base amount for Polygon Amoy is shown on the next step, once you have entered a wallet address. Sharing a post on X that contains your wallet address and this faucet URL doubles the drip, and Quicknode customers on a paid plan double it again, up to four times the base amount plus priority in the queue for faster delivery. The 12 hour cooldown is per wallet address per network, so you can still claim on a different network in the meantime.

Amoy is the current Polygon PoS test network, and it replaced Mumbai when Mumbai was retired in April 2024. Its gas token is POL rather than MATIC, following the token migration. Amoy anchors to Ethereum Sepolia, whereas Mumbai anchored to Goerli, which is why Mumbai died alongside it.

Polygon Amoy uses chain ID 80002, and you can view your transactions on PolygonScan. To add the network to MetaMask or another wallet, enter that chain ID together with an RPC URL and the explorer URL, or connect your wallet on this page and approve the network switch when prompted. For a dedicated endpoint without shared rate limits, create a free Polygon RPC endpoint on Quicknode.

The most common cause is the 12 hour cooldown, which applies per wallet address per network, so a repeat request inside that window is rejected. Other frequent causes are a failed bot check, an address that is not a valid Polygon address, having the wrong network selected, or the Polygon Amoy faucet wallet running low on funds. Smart contract wallets and multisig addresses can also fail where a standard address succeeds. Mumbai is retired, so anything targeting Mumbai will fail and should move to Amoy. Polygon zkEVM and its testnets were shut down entirely in July 2026, so there is no Polygon zkEVM testnet to claim on any more. If it keeps failing, reach out on X or Discord.

Amoy suits high-throughput, low-fee application testing such as NFT mints, payments and gaming loops, where mainnet Polygon gas economics matter. It is also the network to use when testing a bridge between Ethereum Sepolia and Polygon. For a worked example, see How to Deploy a Smart Contract on Polygon.
