Testnet Faucet

Quicknode got tired of having to scrounge for testnet tokens, so we created this Multi-Chain Faucet for all of the networks we support.

1Connect your wallet
2Choose your amount
3Receive your tokens

Drop in your wallet details

Connect your wallet! We support Coinbase Wallet, MetaMask, Uniswap Wallet, and Phantom wallet.

zkSync Sepolia Faucet FAQ

Select zkSync and the Sepolia network on this page, enter your wallet address or connect a wallet, then complete the verification to receive ETH on zkSync Sepolia. The base drip is free and requires no Quicknode account, no post on X and no minimum mainnet balance, so a brand new wallet can claim. Optional bonuses increase the amount but are never required.

You can claim ETH once every 12 hours per network, and the exact base amount for zkSync Sepolia is shown on the next step, once you have entered a wallet address. Sharing a post on X that contains your wallet address and this faucet URL doubles the drip, and Quicknode customers on a paid plan double it again, up to four times the base amount plus priority in the queue for faster delivery. The 12 hour cooldown is per wallet address per network, so you can still claim on a different network in the meantime.

zkSync Sepolia is the test network for ZKsync Era, a zero-knowledge rollup layer 2 built on the ZK Stack, and the official spelling of the network is ZKsync. It uses test ETH for gas and settles to Ethereum Sepolia. ZKsync uses its own compiler and account model, so contracts must be compiled with the ZKsync toolchain rather than deployed as-is.

zkSync Sepolia uses chain ID 300, and you can view your transactions on ZKsync Era Explorer. To add the network to MetaMask or another wallet, enter that chain ID together with an RPC URL and the explorer URL, or connect your wallet on this page and approve the network switch when prompted. For a dedicated endpoint without shared rate limits, create a free zkSync RPC endpoint on Quicknode.

The most common cause is the 12 hour cooldown, which applies per wallet address per network, so a repeat request inside that window is rejected. Other frequent causes are a failed bot check, an address that is not a valid zkSync address, having the wrong network selected, or the zkSync Sepolia faucet wallet running low on funds. Smart contract wallets and multisig addresses can also fail where a standard address succeeds. Contracts must be compiled with the ZKsync toolchain, so a build produced for standard EVM chains will not deploy here. zkSync Era Goerli was retired in March 2024 with no state migrated, so anything deployed there is gone. If it keeps failing, reach out on X or Discord.

zkSync Sepolia is the network for testing native account abstraction and paymasters, which are first-class on ZKsync rather than bolted on. It is also where you verify that your contracts compile and behave correctly under the ZKsync VM.
